ABILITIES
Stands are a supernatural ability in canon and not at all unlike the Personas of the Persona franchise (I HAVE TYPED THAT SENTENCE MORE TIMES THAN I'D LIKE, I'M RUNNING THAT SHIT INTO THE GROUND GOD). In short they are summonable guardian spirits who listen to their user's orders and fight on their behalf. Though manifestations of energy, they are able to interact with objects (and thus people) in the real world. There are a few ground rules when it comes to Stands however, and the ones relevant to Bruno are:
They are seen only by other Stand users. In a panfandom setting however, it's almost certain that other characters with at least some form of spiritual awareness will be able to see, and possibly attack them. If you're not sure, feel free to check in with me!They can only be attacked by other Stands. But again, subject to change in RP.Any and all damage is reflected between Stand and user. Cut off the arm of a Stand, and the user's arm will also go flying, and vice versa. The further the Stand is from Bruno, the weaker it becomes, hence his range is only two meters. There ways around this howeverBruno's Stand has no discernible personality, following his orders without hesitation. It will not speak, and will only barely communicate with other people; a glance, a nod, that sort of thing.
Okay, with that aside, we can move onto Bruno's Stand itself. It was named
Sticky Fingers, after a Rolling Stones album because Araki saw the cover and went "HUH I COULD MAKE A STAND OUT OF THAT". And he did. So needless to say, Bruno's specialty is ZIPPERS. Provided he or his Stand directly touches an object, living or inanimate,
with his hands, he can do any combination of the following:
Create a space inside said object and enter it. These spaces can only be opened and closed by Bruno himself, though others may enter if he allows them. These spaces are as large or as small as Bruno wants them to be.Open a zip on an object to allow him passage through it. For example, he'd be able to pass through walls or floors by placing zips down. It's important to note the immediate area surrounding the zips becomes flexible. Also please don't actually ask how the zip in that picture works because I don't think even Araki knows. This and the above ability form the crux of his Stand's powers; everything else more or less branches off these. Canon examples are:Temporarily sever limbs. The procedure is painless and does not harm the victim in any way unless he's splitting the heart or brain, in which case you won't last very long, since you soooooort of need those.Conversely, he can reattach limbs. It is a temporary fix only and in no way a substitute for actual medical attention. If Bruno were to cancel his Stand's ability, the limb will just fall off again. Please go see a doctor.Attach different objects together. Sometimes they'll fit together nicely like a puzzle. Sometimes they won't. It depends on what the two objects are.Extend his or his Stand's reach
There are many other applications of this ability; it all comes down to being able to actually think of them.
INFO
The other thing to note is that Bruno himself is... strange. Due to events in canon, he had the shit beaten out of him and he... died, but due to the effects of another character's Stand, Bruno was "brought back to life", but not... conventionally. His soul was merely attached to his corpse, and so Bruno's body does none of the things it should. He:
Has no heart beat, thus no pulseIs cold to the touchDoes not need to eat, sleep, or breathe. He has no bodily functions whatsoeverDoes not bleed the way normal living beings do. Minor cuts and scrapes bear no blood, but deeper gashes ooze a thickened, dark blood. Characters who are medically inclined will notice it has begun to coagulateCannot heal naturallyHas only two of five senses; sight and hearingDoes not decay like a corpse would. I'm chalking this up to Stand magic since nobody in canon tells him he's falling apart. Or that he smells bad.
Basically, he's a mess, and he won't bring it up in regular conversation, because... why would you even....
